Earning Widget for Steam Developers · GameEarn
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Earning Widget for Steam Developers (store name “Earning Widget for Steam Devs”, Home Screen name “GameEarn”, “the app”), provided by LEEDLAB (“we”, “the developer”).
1. The service
The app is a tool that uses a Steamworks Financial Web API key you create to read your own Steam sales, refunds, units, wishlist activity and current player counts, and shows them in the app, in Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and in notifications. The app only reads reports; it never changes your Steamworks account, store pages, prices, builds or payments.
2. Not affiliated with Valve
Earning Widget for Steam Developers is an independent app. Not affiliated with Valve Corporation. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
- Steam, Steamworks and the Steam Web API are operated and changed by Valve Corporation. Changes on Valve’s side may stop some or all of the app from working.
- Questions about your Steamworks account, revenue, payments, taxes or API keys should go to Steamworks support.
3. Acceptance
By installing or using the app you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using and delete the app. Your use of Steam’s APIs through the app also remains subject to your agreements with Valve, including the Steamworks Distribution Agreement and the Steam Web API Terms of Use.
4. Your API key and your responsibilities
- Only add a key that you created, or are authorized to use, for a Steamworks partner account you are allowed to view financial data for.
- You are responsible for following Valve’s agreements and your organization’s rules about who may see financial data.
- The app stores the key only on your device and uses it only to call Steam. What you do with the same key elsewhere is your responsibility.
- If you think the key has been exposed, remove it in the app and revoke it or delete the Financial API Group in Steamworks.
- Steam may limit requests that exceed its limits. The app is designed to stay far below them, but we cannot guarantee how Valve applies its limits.
5. Figures are estimates, not financial advice
- Sales dates follow Pacific Time and wishlist dates follow GMT.
- Steam updates recent days as transactions settle and refunds arrive, so numbers already shown can change later.
- Net revenue is gross sales minus refunds and sales tax/VAT, before Valve’s revenue share, chargebacks and other adjustments.
- We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the data shown.
- Always confirm important financial, tax or business decisions with Steamworks reports and your payment records.
6. Advertising
The app is free and shows ads in the app to support its operation. Widgets never show ads. Ad-related data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Ad removal purchase
- “Remove ads” is a non-consumable, one-time purchase that stops ads from being shown in the app. It does not unlock other features.
- Payment and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms and refund policies. The price is the amount shown in the store.
- The purchase is tied to the Apple ID or Google account used to pay and can be restored on devices signed in to the same store account. It does not transfer between iOS and Android.
- It is not a subscription and never renews or charges you again.
- Except where required by law or store policy, changes to app features or discontinuation of the service do not entitle you to a refund.
8. Things you may not do
- Reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
- Use automated means to send excessive requests to Steam through the app or to interfere with the app.
- Add someone else’s API key without their permission.
- Use the app for any purpose that breaks the law or your agreements with Valve.
9. Intellectual property and trademarks
The developer owns the rights to the app’s design, code and logo.
Not affiliated with Valve Corporation. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation. The app uses the name “Steam” only to describe where your data comes from, and does not use Valve’s logos or artwork.
App Store is a trademark of Apple Inc. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including that the app will run without interruption or error, or that the data shown is accurate, complete or current.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of revenue, business opportunity or data, arising from the use of or inability to use the app, from delays, errors or omissions in the data, from differences between estimates and actual payments, or from actions Valve takes on your account or key. This does not limit liability for damages caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to the service
Features may change or stop because of changes to the Steam Web API, app store policies or for technical reasons. We will announce important changes in the app or on this website.
13. Changes to these terms
We will announce changes on this page and in the app at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to you). Continuing to use the app after the changes take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are resolved by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence are not limited by these terms.
